I am the mastermind behind this little corner of the internet. My journey in travel first began in the womb with my first ultrasound actually being taken in Greece. Since my journey earth side, I’ve travelled through 27 countries across 5 continents.
My first memory of really wanting to travel was probably in grade 12, so about 17 years old. I was thinking about what life would be like after graduating high school and trying to figure out what to do with my life. One of the classrooms had a big world map on it, and I think I just decided I wanted to go see what was out there.
I did end up going to university right out of high school and ended up working and saving money while I worked on a Fine Arts diploma. (Please don’t ask me what I’m doing with this) After I “graduated”/ dropped out I booked a one-way flight to Europe to embark on my first solo travelling adventure.
Ever since then I have fallen more and more in love with travelling and I guess you could say I’m addicted. I love travelling solo and I also love travelling with my best friends when they decide they want to tag along. When I’m at home, I am constantly scouring google flights and looking at google maps, pinning locations and planning my next adventures.
So that brings me to “Britts Travel Pics.” I started my instagram page as a way to share my travel posts while I was travelling so I wouldn’t annoy everyone on my main instagram page. I have since figured maybe I could actually do something with this, which brings me to this blog.
I love planning trips, creating itineraries, making budgets, finding deals and honestly just every part of the planning process. If it has anything to do with travel, I’m into it. I figured why not try and turn my passion for travelling and adventure into a way to help other people with the same goals and ambitions!
Here on Britts Travel Pics, I will post my free guides to my favourite destinations, travel tips & tricks, stories about my travels and hopefully inspire you to take your next trip!
